Garden Design
My Garden Design Service is completely tailored to suit your needs. You may want to re-design just one area of the garden or the whole site. You may want an instant face-lift or a plan you can work towards over the next few years. Whatever your requirements I will work with you to give you the inspiration and plans you need.
Each design project starts with a meeting on site to discuss your requirements. I will then spend some time in the garden to measure and get to know the space. From this I will produce a site survey and analysis plan hand drawn to scale. Design sketches are then drawn up for discussion before the final design plans are produced. These are hand drawn to scale with supporting drawings as required and a comprehensive written report.
All design projects are quoted individually but as a guide fees for a full design for a small garden start from around £800.
Planting Design
You may be happy with the overall layout of your garden but feel unsure what to plant to make the most of the space to suit its unique conditions and achieve the style you are looking for. A Planting Plan will show you exactly what to plant, where to plant and how many of each plant you need.
The process starts with a meeting in the garden to chat through your aspirations for the planting, things you like or don't like and the style you want to achieve. The finished planting plan shows each planted area of the garden hand drawn to scale and details exactly what to plant where. It is provided with a written report describing the plants selected.
Planting plans are quoted on an individual basis but prices start at £400 for a mixed perennial border.

Maintenance Plans
If maintaining a new or existing garden seems a scary prospect a detailed maintenance plan guiding you through the seasons might be just what you need.
For an existing garden a maintenance plan starts with a visit to the garden and a chat to explore your gardening knowledge. I will then spend time in the garden to assess the planting, aspect and soil conditions before providing a detailed written guide outlining the care required.
A maintenance plan can be added to the Garden Design Service for a new garden if required.
This service is priced on an individual basis.
Planting Plans By Post
If you are not in the Bath area you may like to commission a planting plan by post.

Planting
Following a Full Garden Design or Planting Plan service, I can order plants for you from local nurseries and set them out in their pots or plant them in your garden.
