This tiny plot had hardly been touched by the previous owners. The simple concrete path and square slab patio next to a sad, bare lawn was not bringing any joy to its new owner. Something had to be done.
A radical facelift created level access from gate to patio doors. Indian sandstone and Sureset resin bound areas provide plenty of space for seating and a new home for my clients wonderful collection of sculptures and ceramics. Replacing the tired Lonicera hedge with Portuguese Laurel and Corten panels has given the garden a wow factor without closing off the connection to the community woodland beyond. A small sunken area houses the barbecue for outdoor cooking.
